A reminder

Meanwhile the governments of the world have at least spent 320 billion dollars focused solely on this non-problem.

It would similar to governments spending these billions focused on the task of ensuring the sun rising every morning. So other than bringing some kind of religious comfort and perhaps giving jobs to people who may be incapable of doing anything of real value, it's otherwise an utter waste of tax dollars and the resources they use farting about.

It should noticed that entire capital cost of opening of the space frontier in a very vigorous way would probably be about the scale of 1 trillon dollars per decade.
[And what I mean is that there is a limit to how much capital in the world that can go towards growth, and vigorous opening of space frontier would "rob the oxygen" from this. A similar example would figuring how much capitial went toward the computer/internet revolution- which as a wild guess may have been on order of 1/2 trillion per decade. Now, of course there is a return to this investing and in terms computer/internet this return has huge in terms of increase in productivity, etc. And the same would occur in regards to opening open the space frontier.]

So if the scale of opening the space frontier was a trillion per decade- that would far less of "drain" on world economy than what currently being spent on non issue of global warming- and of course worst still- there will be no increase in productivity or any other return on investment.

The 320 billion number spent since 2005, is not an over estimate and does not include such things as:
"...above guesstimates do not include the billions allocated to "global warming" research ($2 billion per annum in the US alone), "alternative" energy research ($3 billion in the US) and subsidy ($? lots, with forced market share), public indoctrination education campaigns, public monies misdirected to NGOs and other pressure groups or the donations frightened out of the public by the various foundations and alleged charities acting against human interest."

So next time someone tells the cost of opening the space frontier is too expensive or not worth it, keep this in mind.
