The first time I went to Walmart after 9/11.....
I was looking at all the foreigners and knew I had lost my trust in all of them.
However, time tempered that. I realized that event could have made me a racist, but I processed it differently.
I still feel uncomfortable in large cities because of the integration of all cultures. I feel a lot more comfortable up here in the mountains with white folk. I'd prefer just to read about it on the web and proselytize from the comfort of my keyboard.
