Of course men are in the equation and often responsible for the decision to procreate. However, I think without women's prodding, intimidation, and every once in awhile out and out fraud, we'd have far fewer children in this world. Most men I talk to, when they mention sex, are not talking about this wondrous gift we've been given to bring life through our penis. We're into the orgasm pure and simple.
The child part is usually just the cost of doing business.
Now before you rate me as some unfeeling oaf, let me explain that once the kids are in the world, they are a marvelous thing and you love them dearly but before they popped out and I got to know who they were, I could've cared less about their existence.
