My Zen in the Suburbs
A squirrel plays 'catch me if you can' with an enraged mockingbird around a tree trunk... I do believe I saw the squirrel stick out his tongue at her.
The morning dew is cradled in a spider web...that allows me to see the intricacies of her design.
A male morning dove dances for his intended and she capitulates.
Delicate green lizards perched on my pittosporums, with their pink throats exposed.
The orchestra of bird songs permeate the silence of the early morning.
I think I will have one more cup of coffee and watch the morning unfold.
