I'm just saying we have 100's of years of explorations and discoveries before we can realistically approach the question, just with our CURRENT knowledge. And by then we may have solidified the idea of graviationally connected muliverses which some physicist have theorized. Or we may find wormholes can lead us to other dimensions. Who knows what new fronts will be uncovered. Maybe in a million years we will be energy beings transporting between dimensions still asking questions. I think it is more likely that new questions arise that can be explored for the forseeable future rather than dead ends. As far as whether there is ultimately a dead end, that is likely asking is there a god. Even if we found god, maybe there is another god that made him, etc. lol.
Religious people believe that the unknowable (God) is knowable through the process of revelation. Of course that is outside our current mathematical/science calculous, which as you said has already proven there are unknowable things within its system. But if all of a sudden some "god like" creature plucked you out of the universal simulator we have been inside, and revealed to you vast other realms of dimensions, universes, and possibilities....what could you say, but maybe the question of the "end of physics" was not very relevant.

I don't disagree with what you said, but...
