re: Choices

In the steady state universe, it is suggested matter pops up randomly, from somewhere....
But then, shouldn't it be noticed? Especially if we can see so far in the past?
If the universe were infinite, so would be time and nothing could be bigger than that universe (one cannot, it seems, have an infinite universe within another infinite universe)...
However, an evolving universe leaves room for changes!

Darwin's theory of evolution has likewise been attacked for all kinds of difficult to explain inconsistencies...The limited evolving universe is going through a similar crisis!

I have no problem with a limited universe (anyway we're not here for long enough to feel the difference).

What I find interesting is how our preferences, and apparently those of our generations, (yours for evolutionary, mine for steady state), came to be.

I wonder if religion versus atheism hasn't a little to do with it.
