History and infinity

We are part of the universe and we have a history (we are born, evolve and die like stars do). We also discovered galaxies moving away from each other, so they also evolve (collide, spread apart, etc) and thus have a history.

Why should that reasoning stop with the universe itself?

Agreed, we lack a lot of data to be able to claim space and time started together at a very precise moment in time.
But, infinity doesn't go together with history.
Can something "infinite" have been younger, before? I don't think so. Something infinite doesn't grow (old) and therefore never was young. And that's why, intellectually, the concept of infinity has an issue.

The universe might be more stable than we think and seem infinite but that is due to our lack of data....and our insignificance.
