I didn't think the survey was the important part, particularly since a little research reveals that the survey itself is not online, and the number of results claimed for it in various articles is as varied as the number of articles.

The title of the survey is "A Gallup Study of Scientists' Opinions and Understanding of Global Climate Change," from November 1991. If anyone else finds a link, let me know.

Now, click on a few of the links. Or just one or two. Almost all of them are much more recent work.
