No sane, educated, unbiased person could deny that anthropogenic global warming is real, and poses a threat to our quality of life- what confounds me is how some people seem to think its a conspiracy of environmentalists and climatologists! This is on par with with the 'moon landing is a hoax' nutcases.

The case for anthropogenic global warming has been made- there is no reasonable doubt- NONE! I have read the scientific papers, I have looked at the data, I HAVE studied this... I even posted several pages explaining why this is not REALLY in debate in the scientific community- and trust me, I KNOW how to read scientific papers... I start with the assumption there is a flaw, and I look for it.

For some people this is a political issue- I have never understood why, These morons act like I am some liberal nut advocating that we go back to an agrarian lifestyle- But I AM NOT, I like my lifestyle! All I am saying is that this is an issue the world needs to take seriously, the solution will not be simple or cheap, but there are ways we can reduce the problem...

I have heard some loons here and elsewhere state 'well, the scientists already said we are screwed, so why do anything?' - Dumbasses, we should take action now to lessen the scale of the problem...
