re: I have provided reams of scientific data

I said:

"It's not surprising that RL has pretty much given up on this topic. His contribution has been mostly limited to insulting people, rather than be involved in any scientific discussion.
It's obvious that RL is emotional about this issue, but he has failed to convey any rational objective basis for these beliefs."

Anyone with any sense will notice, I didn't make any claim about RL posting or not posting any scientific data.
Again RL offers a strawman.
Perhaps, he thinks offering strawman arguments and insulting people is a rational discussion.

Returning to RL statement:
"No sane, educated, unbiased person could deny that anthropogenic global warming is real, and poses a threat to our quality of life- "

No one is discussing whether anthropogenic global warming is real [another example of strawman].

There were previously discussions of how "real" computer models of climate 100 years into the future can be and with depictions of the end of the world as we know it [such as sea level rising over 20' and/or Venus like conditions].

There is discussion of how significant this warming is. For instance, is man's activity adding around .01 C? Or is most of the .6 C warming in last century due to human activity [or is it more than the measured change- because "natural" temperature variation would have lowered global temp if not for the human activity {or as some have claimed a few years ago, that human activity added global temperature is hidden in the ocean}].

And of all possible human activity which could add to global temperature such as urban development, agriculture, CO2 emission, methane emission, etc. What human factors are adding the most and how much are each adding.

Is was not too long ago that Hanson [Gore's science go to guy] was saying that CO2 wasn't as important a factor, e.g.:
"According to Hansen's new study in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences: Global warming in recent decades has been driven mainly by non-CO2 greenhouse gases, such as chlorofluorocarbons (CFCs), methane (CH4) and nitrous oxide (N2O), rather than the products of fossil fuel burning, CO2 and aerosols."

Lately he seems to back away from this, saying methane is second most important factor- CO2 being what claims is the first.
