"No sane, educated, unbiased person could deny that anthropogenic global warming is real, and poses a threat to our quality of life- "
The threat of building a wind farm 5 miles off shore is said to be a threat to quality of life.
The threat of building a new nuclear power plant within 10 miles of anyone could be seen as "a threat to quality of life".
Building any tall buildings can be seen as "threat to quality of life".
Etc. Etc.
Anything could be called "a threat to our quality of life"- it's political babble, a vague meaningless, subjective expression.
It's not surprising that RL has pretty much given up on this topic. His contribution has been mostly limited to insulting people, rather than be involved in any scientific discussion.
It's obvious that RL is emotional about this issue, but he has failed to convey any rational objective basis for these beliefs.
