And so on. They haven't been right yet, but still argue, fuss and fight.

Anyone with pride instead of arrogance would be hanging their heads in shame at their mistakes, and start to realize that simply because they WANT to believe something does NOT make it true.

Unfortunately, they are still there - if they don't want to believe it they'll just say it ain't so and it makes it ain't so for them.
