Sometimes wealthy interests can sponser a political party.
And tenets of that party can be found and emphasized to complement that wealthy interest. Over the years, 1) more and more ways that the party's tenets are in concordance with the wealthy interest will emerge, and 2) the image of that wealthy interest can be found to be or remade to be an underdog who is unfairly suppressed by your political opponents.
