...if he is (or was at the time) paid by a news organization, he is a journalist. If he was (is) not, then he was (is) not a journalist. I know next to nothing about him. And frankly don't care to know. That's the litmus as far as I'm concerned. Blogging is not journalism; it's editorializing and should be read as such.
