It wasnâ€™t easy. I really wanted that shot of Morphine so I could drift off in a numb world and not have to face reality. That was when red flags went up. I realized my pain was tolerable without the drug, and I wanted to use the drug for other reasons other than stopping my pain.

I knew then I had to stop taking the drug. It was not easy, but I had to do it for my own sake.
