Red gives my wife migraines, and I tend to like the crisper and lighter whites. I am about as far from a connoisseur as you can get without coming over the horizon in the other direction. In fact, I had to look up how to spell "connoisseur."

Pinot Grigio is usually a safe bet for me, but not everybody has it.
