There are only three kinds of wine,
Red, white and rosé.
I recommend Spanish wines for value. Marqués de Riscal is very good, and could be picked up for $6 a bottle until the wine snobs discovered it and the price quadrupled overnight. I really like the red. It's not a fancy vintage, it's what Spanish proles drink with their rice and beans.
The same goes for cigars, there is no reason why any hand-rolled cigar made from Cuban leaf by Cuban farmers (but legally produced for our market in Central America or the Dominican Republic) should cost more than a dollar. But now that the yuppies have driven up the price, they have gone up by more than an order of magnitude.
