Nobody's rights are being violated in America, no librarians are being hauled off, no bloggers are being arrested, there are no "secret orders" in the laws that haven't mostly been there for years, and nobody is being sent to secret camps,

You read Daily Kos. Does that look like honest fear of oppression or retribution to you? Or does it look like people poking a scarecrow and pretending to be brave rebels?

America is awash in loud and enthusiastic criticisms of the President, the Congress, and every other aspect of our government. A person could put a full-page picture of Bush eating dogshit on the internet, accessible to everybody on the planet, and sleep perfectly soundly at night. And they know it.
