I blow off judgeships and all city candidates as a matter of course. There's no information on these people that I trust to guide me so I prefer not to add noise to the election results with my uninformed vote.
I certainly would not presume to second-guess a judge's courtroom decisions. No way do I have access to adequate info about the trials nor knowledge of the law.
I both love and hate the initiatives. It is a wonderful way to enact law, in theory. On the other hand, it seems to be on the road to being corrupted by too much money. And it is a major hassle to read all those materials. Thank god for the voter pamphlets, because the advertising for and against, is worse than useless.
