I don’t think it’s odd at all and I don’t think it’s sinister. I honestly believe they think they have the best interest in mind when not fully disclosing all information to the public.

It is easy for a group to let someone talk about UFO’s as they are generally viewed as loonies, so their comments are not taken seriously, thus no need to worry. Just look at what this thread has turned into.

I sure wouldn’t arm my military to the teeth if I knew the reports were true. Why? It would be futile and give the wrong message. Beside if they wanted to eliminate us they would be able to do it no matter what dismal weapons we have compared to a species that has the technology to visit our world.

I know a lot like to make fun of the issue, but it’s more real than not for me and here’s why.

Three years ago in August I was in my backyard talking to my son who was having difficulties with his girlfriend. It was a warm, clear summer twilight evening and he was looking for answers on how to breakup with his roommate without creating a bad scene. As I was listening to his complaints I looked up and saw a very large rectangular object heading true North directly over my head (zenith) about 100 feet high and what seemed to be traveling 150 MPH. This object was wider than my 60’ wide house with a length of twice the width. It had a squared edge shape in portion to a pizza box only rectangular not a square. Maybe a pack of cigarettes or a phone book would be a better description. There were no lights, no windows, no holes and no sign of doors. This object was absolutely quite with no sign of propulsion exhaust or places were it could come from. It was a dirty brown in color much like the color of a reentry capsule but I don’t know if that was my brain telling me what it should look like.

I pointed up to my son and all he could say is; What’s that? If my son hadn’t been there with me I would be questioning what we saw to this day. It was so close there was no mistaking this object as any but a very large silent flying object and as far as I know we don’t have the technology for the characteristic of what I described.

We only saw it for 2-3 seconds as it moved so fast and was flying so low over the houses. I didn’t see it coming and couldn’t see what was on the top of it. I ran to the front of the house in hopes of viewing more but nothing in sight. I ran into the house to tell my wife and was think about reporting the sighting, calling the nearby airport tower but stopped in my tracks and realized it was over, what good what it do and I know now.

What other explanation is there? I am not making this up!
