I’ve thought about the size of the object I saw and wondered if my brain was telling me it should be that big, like when you see a full moon so large on the horizon. Maybe it was smaller and even higher than I described but how come I didn’t see any sigh of it when I went to the front of the house? When this object passed over me it blocked out much of the sky and that might have influenced my brain in determining its size.

The flight pattern of this object was direct and not waffling about in the air so I can’t relate to what I saw as any kind of a man made object other than the usual small airplanes that fly over landing and taking off from the nearby airport and it was definitely none of them. I have spent plenty of time on the ground of airport runways among jets that have made me hit the deck and take the wake and from small planes alike and I can tell you this object can’t even come close to to what I saw and if it would have been at high altitude I would have made the connection.

I have read a lot of UFO reports over the years and I haven’t found one report of lights in the sky that I believe was a non-terrestrial UFO. There are just to many factors to take into consideration like you have described. I also don’t believe the photos and videos that are out there as proof of alien ships but I have a hard time not believing astronauts military personnel who report unusual sightings. I’m sure most can be explained as not that unusual but there are a few still unexplained.

I didn’t want to tell of my observation to anyone here as you might imagine, but I put my foot in it with my post to New Age Vapors. I’m not trying to convince anyone they are out there and don’t want to be an advocate of UFO’s but was merely trying to show there are responsible people out there who might have credible sightings worth looking into.
