I may have to rethink
I had been thinking of Obama as a definite possibility. Now I'm not so sure. They need to spend less on Pet Pork Projects and leave NASA alone. We receive too many benefits from the space program to even think of slowing it down. Who knows what may be invented next month because of our quest to understand the Universe and go there?
Education does need support; we need new generations of scientists, engineers, inventors. A few billion NOT spent on war could certainly take care of that.
Be dependent on Russia for trips to the ISS? We don't even know what our relationship with Russia will BE in another 4 years! The ISS could become the Russian Space Station.
