Until about 50 years ago the fed spent essentially nothing on education.
Now are the schools better today than they were then?
As far as I can tell, the only things we have achieved are:
The school lunch program which is a stealth farm subsidy. And racial integration...
2 good things mind you, but neither really does anything to "educate" and why do they cost so much?
