What about JFK?

Speaking of Obama and a high charisma quotient.

Fred's one of the Republican candidates who's angling to serve Bush's third term, in Huck's memorable phrase. Do you really interpret the early hunger to pick a new President, Dubya's permanent in-the-toilet approval ratings, Huckabee's surge after criticizing Bush's "arrogant bunker mentality", and the universal use of the word "change" in even the Republican rhetoric, as a sign that a majority of Americans want more of the same?

It doesn't matter who the Republicans pick, America simply doesn't want another Republican President. Period. Democrats would have to nominate another John Kerry to risk losing this one. And John Kerry's become a Republican and changed his name to Mitt Romney. The negatives are all on the Right.
