Let's put it this way, if folks were ignorant enough to elect Bush in 2000 and 2004, what makes you think they've gotten any wiser now?

Seriously?

If the "enlightened" choose Obama's "preacher rhetoric" or Hillary's "actions" - just how many enlightened folks do you think are out there?

Are these the same "enlightened" who spend 3 months of each year watching TV or playing video games? Who have a plethora of mind altering prescriptions, or addictions working them over day & night? Are these the enlightened ones who will save the day?

I think you overestimate the nature of humanity found in this time and place. Trust me, statistically, these are still the dark ages. Remember, Bill Clinton only got in because Perot split the conservative vote. Folks weren't more "enligtened" in 1992 either.

It's pointless arguing about outcomes now.
