I think most Americans are moderate- leaning slightly to the left or right. So why it is the extremist on both sides have so much power? Is it because they scream the loudest and get the most media attention?
Or is it because moderate Democrats and Republicans, who agree on most things, let those few issues we strongly disagree on that cause the rift between the parties?
Or perhaps both.
