re: I don't know

Most of the anti-Hillary crap is coming from the sort of people who thought Kucinich was the Second Coming. People on Kos, or DemocraticUnderground.com. There was a little stuff on Moveon.org, but they enjoy the halls of power too much to write themselves out of it, and are just pushing for a generic "progressive" right now. Almost all of it is based on her voting for the authorization for military action. I doubt this will make a significant dent in Hillary's support if she's the nominee, but it is interesting that you don't hear about any of it from the media.

For that matter, I don't know that the conservative complaints about McCain are going to add up to much either.

Just to keep things clear: I wish the nominee had been someone other than McCain. Come to that, like most elections, I wish the nominee had been someone other than any of the group I got to choose from. I'll bet this is also true for many Democrats.

But if McCain is the nominee, I'll vote for him. If Hillary is the Democrat, it'll even be effortless--hell, I might even get a bumper sticker. And I suspect any realistic-minded conservative will do this, too. A lot of people on the right whose opinions I respect are telling Republicans to get a grip.

Here's one.
