I'm a leftie (moderate)
I also love God more than any human. I'm not religious but I am very spiritual. I don't need the trappings to have a close relationship to God.
That said, I believe in separation of Church and State; however, I feel it has gone a bit too far and the PC'ness, lest the atheists be aggravated is ridiculous. Atheists can take care of themselves. The rest of us, God takes care of.
Prayer in school? Sure, just not vocal. Have a couple of minutes of silence where those who do pray, can, and those who don't can think about dipping little Susie's pigtail in a virtual inkwell.
I'm saying, don't lump all lefties together. Nancy Pelosi is just a bit 'righter' than me.
