Reality check...
Look around and see where the Religious Right has actually succeeded in restricting you in any way.
Are movies and books being widely censored? Is abortion illegal? Are we praying in schools? Are people being forced to support churches? We've been warned about an imminent theocracy in this country for decades. In all that time we've never been within a parsec of a theocracy. Just sticking a manger scene in a park brings the hammer down.
I only wish people were half as vigilant about protecting all my other individual freedoms as they are my freedom not to be bothered by religion.
