I'm sure that no one in a weakened condition could be convinced to end it all due to the futility of their situation any more that I could cajole, rather than force someone to drink when that might not be the best thing for them, or encourage a person to drive 100 mph under certain circumstances.

If a person has less than the ability to overdose themself, it may well be something other than a personal decision.

I have no problem with a person taking their own life but I don't believe physicians should assist them.
