Thank You Eric

That is painful to watch.

It's complicated in explaining the directions certain decisions have taken. Painfully obvious when looking back at history. It's insanity.

Even Eisenhower regretted his decision for dropping the A-bomb, yet couldn't wait to use it. Do we all have to wait until we have no more options left? When there are no more "oops" or regrets? That filmaker deserves an award. Very penetrating presentation.

It's idealism, driven by fear and greed with nice sounding cover bytes like liberty and freedom. And the taxpayer is paying for it, while the corporations get rich; usually those retired from their high places in the government, now entrenched as CEO's of defense industries.
The presentation of Cheney's role in our governement, his directive to Wolfowitz back in 1992 when the Soviet Union fell.....THAT was a great example. because of that paper he ordered when he was Secretary of Defense has paid HIM off handsomely.

I'm Canadian. I don't think like George Bush, Dick Cheney or Richard Perle. Nobody attacks us, therefore we don't have to plan to defend ourselves, ad infinitum. Nor do we have to think that we must stop everyone else from having any power, whether it's militaristic, economic or even socialistic power. So, looking into the mindset of some gung ho Americans shows me how transparent their thinking is. No wonder our country is going to hell in handbasket. They don't care, because for every dollar that goes into their pocket for another, bomb, another plane, another weapon of war or a Halliburton outsourcing, is one dollar less for education, medical services and infrastructure here at home.
No wonder this war has bankrupted America and made many in the defense industry FILTHY rich. It's sickening.....and depressing.
