Were the minimal obligations this country has assumed for it's citizens, which don't even include universal health insurance for children, taken care of BEFORE this country pursued it's corporate imperialism, including but not limited to subsidizing products to drive foreign, native producers out of business, forcing "free trade" zones upon the under-developed, gratuitous aggression including but not limited to bombing civilians, destroying infrastructure, torturing, maimimg, "rendition", Guantanamo, if we took care of the homeland first, there would be plenty of money.

Conservatives are like adolescent parents spending money on candy, presents for their girlfriends, guns, motorcycles, and so on and then saying there's nothing with which to feed the kids, the problem is that doctors are too expensive.

Completely irresponsible, it can't be argued that their agenda has worked - the country is broke and can't afford to take care of it's citizens. In fact it can't be argued that that's the design.
