You assume that people here want to be informed of facts and figures when they are utterly disdainful of them.

They want emotion.

Feelgoodism for themselves and a healthy dose of hate for the bearers of the facts.

You only play into their hands as you participate in their emotional self-validation posts. When you present facts to counter their emotions, they simply reinforce their emotional outlook and tell themselves they are more charitable, caring and sensitive people.

Don't make it easy for them. Let them wallow in a sea of ignorance until they beg for a flame of truth to lead them out of their dark pits. Let them realize they need facts and truth on their own.
