All I've been trying to say is, we need to be cautious when it comes to taking in refugees from war torn countries in the Middle East and Africa. I've been met with "we need to welcome them with open arms" because "it's just what we do". I think what "does" politicize it are the comments about conservatives not liking brown people.
It's been suggested we would should bring in women and children. Did anyone stop to think about the rising number of women suicide bombers? What about Tashfeen Malik? They are saying that she was the driving force in the San Bernadino shootings.
I don't understand the willingness to ignore what just happened in Europe.
It's not just a matter of fear like some here like to suggest. It's a practical matter requiring leadership and tough choices.
