But are there any doubts about where this will go if no one tries to put on the brakes? There are clearly a lot of people who wouldn't have a problem with the war on ISIS becoming a broader conflict. Look at how those seeking the presidency are trying to appeal to voters: carpet bombing, turning sand to glass---this is exactly how shit starts.
