The first time I read about this
(and I posted the link to the article here) I was taken by the researchers pointing out the immense area of decaying dinosaurs it would require over the pit of oil under one of the major Saudi Arabian fields if one assumed that all of their matter turned into crude. The size of that area was completely unrealistic even when stretched out over eons.
I also thought about Titan when I read that.
