That is my hope too; that freedom and democracy will spread thought the Middle East and make them a positive factor to the free world. May we see one day, in the near future, a Middle East that no longer breeds terrorist, where women are treated as equals and where dictators, who murdered their own people, are but a memory.

It is not easy to bring such an oppressive an ancient culture up to the Free Worlds’ values, where human rights are enjoyed by all. It’s a hard fight, but hopefully it will be worth it. I have to have faith that it will. I have to have faith in the human race. The whole world can embrace freedom and human rights for everyone.

May our children and grandchildren only read about terrorist in their history books. And may their peers in the Middle East be raised in a free world.

I still think we need a United Nations that has the will and strength to go after all who violate human rights. Such strength could be made if it was in the form of the Free World.
