The Olympics gives people this ability to sit back and get all outraged about the hosting country. It's delivered to their front door. It's much like church-goers get to purge themselves of their problems for one day of the week and then go back to their gluttony and unethical behavior all the rest.

I'm not against ethical outrage against repressive regimes. I'd just like to see it consistent.
