Avoiding the issue, circling it at the perimeter and coloring your posts with insults doesn't quite cut it with me.
Nature demonstrates an infinite potential. The design use of Phi illustrates the capacity for infinite growth and development. Have we observed infinite growth? No, we can't . However we have observed that Phi is built in and that is enough.
That should be impossible in a finite universe and, like it or not, is prima facie evidence the universe and the energy it is comprised of functions with Phi. The spiral galaxy in my link is a second breathtaking evidence of the presence of Phi on a MUCH larger scale.

At that point, observant folk clearly realize the universe and it's component energy uses Phi all over the place and is infinite in nature and functions so that all energy can perpetuate forever and continue without pause or cessation. A finite universe with termination points becomes impossible.
Those who deny the evidence are doomed to believe (or make up) poorly conceived theories about "heat death" of the universe and "contraction" and other ideas there is absolutely no evidence to support. That's par for the course for those scientists who can conjure a universe out of nothing - ending it into nothing makes just as much sense.
Acknowledging this infinite potential in the structures around us is too painful for those who are more mentally or theologically comfortable with a finite universe with a beginning, ending and perhaps a god to wrap it all up in a neat package. These folks must pretend such infinite potentials mean absolutely nothing, or they risk losing that comfort zone they have created for themselves.
So flail about some more, throw up some more personal insults and avoid the evidence I've brought to the table. There will be a few folks here you can win over with such misdirection and smoke.
I wont be one of them.
