If, as you fantasize, the superdelegates sign on with Billary after deeming Obama damaged goods, we will see the most spectacular implosion of a party since the Whig party vanished - or better yet what happened to the Independent Party after John Anderson ran in 1980.
Obama faithful will despise the Hillary folks and there "not far left enough" politics. They will be the "sellouts" who betrayed the one true savior.
At this moment, the half-Hispanic Governor of New Mexico awaits to be anointed VP candidate on Obama's ticket at the convention. He is doing everything in his power to see that he does not end up hoisted on his own petard. His job is to deliver Obama the Mexican votes, legal and otherwise and Obama has promised him that when the demographics permit in 8 years -he will be a shoe-in as the first half-Hispanic President. His greed and oversize tummy viewed that prospect as utterly delightful. Billary couldn't and wouldn't match that offer. They know self-serving snakes well - their two terms were fill to the brim with them.
So the far left have been promised a half-black then half-Hispanic 16 year reign.
Hillary wanted to run against Obama. She has known his weaknesses were the easiest to exploit and his complete inexperience made her inexperience seem the more filled of the two half empty cups.
If the superdelegates go for Obama, in a loyalty to the fanatic faithful the Billary folks will be ticked off and will desert the party entirely, urging Hillary to run as a write-in Candidate. Everything is set.
The Democratic party is about to implode. It will emerge as two parties - each of which will be no larger than the diminished GOP party.
So the curtain is rising and I have a front row seat. I watch as the conductor warms up the orchestra and I can see the nervous behind the curtain motions of both candidates on each side of the stage.
Only a mastermind could have accomplished such after Bush's sustained political pillorying by the global media.
Whoever it is should be quite proud.
