Did you read the article? She said she would use anti-trust laws and the WTO...
Does this stuff just pop out randomly? I find it hard to believe that she writes it down ahead of time.
Obviously there is a political dimension to this as she has apparently gotten mileage from the gas tax issue (no pun indended), and this is another play on that.
But beyond the politics, it's an interesting idea. Hillary obviously knows it will not succeed, but it will certainly change the business-as-usual atmosphere away from Bush and his Big Oil cronies in what I believe would be a positive way. This could serve as one of the opening salvos in the serious effort to make America energy independent, and thus lessen the power of extremist oil producing nations. She is as serious about this critical national security issue as Bush has NOT been.
