Was that while the VRWC, this "network", may have an organic life of its own, it's also being force-fed nutritious billionaire bucks like a goose destined for pate, nowadays in huge measure through the "Kochtopus" network. That's the point I was making about all of the "movement" being astroturf all the way back to the John Birch Society. Which in turn was a shadowy initiative by wealthy reactionaries of the day who saw economic benefit in sponsoring the whole contrived notion of "Conservatism®" invented by Leo Strauss of Chicago University in the 1940s as a civic religion to break the masses to harness to better serve their betters, couched in the guise of timeless tradition.
And make a few bucks from the grift, of course. Conservative pate is perennially ripe for the harvesting.
