But the rules are changing. In spite of the government's preponderance of firepower, political correctness on the Right has made it almost politically impossible for legitimate force to be used against highly armed rebels and insurgents if they are white, Christian, and claim to be opposed to the jack-booted statists. That is the legacy of Ruby Ridge, Waco, and the Nevada Bundy uprising.

The Conservative press and politicians are actually celebrating these thugs as freedom fighters. Even the Malheur siege took weeks to resolve, and even then only because the Feds had an isolated location and a thoroughly worked out PR and media plan and the cowboys didn't. Next time they'll be better prepared, that's what all those right-wing think tanks and institutes and the Conservative press are for. This is the same species that invented "marketing" for commercial purposes, they won't have any trouble adapting it to insurrection.

Anti-terror laws only work against blacks and Muslims because the Right has brainwashed their zombie legions into believing anything coming from Washington is a Commie plot to steal their bibles and their guns.

Yes, I do expect assassinations will come back into favor, but I don't think they'll come from a Democratic controlled government. They will come from a Republican power structure removing those on their own side who will object to fascist strong-arm tactics. Its already almost a capital crime in Right-wing circles to be a RINO, a moderate, or a middle-of-the-roader. And the definition of what it takes to be accused of those apostasies slides further and further to the Right every day.

This is guerilla warfare, low intensity warfare, urban conflict. The next revolution will look more like Weimar Germany in the 1920s than Virginia and the Carolinas in 1860. Only the origins of the conflict will be for the same reason...a prosperous and ruthless minority is losing its grip on power, and they've managed to convince
their ignorant and frightened sharecroppers and tenant farmers that some distant Yankee menace is taking away their freedom and their wealth.
