My patience is wearing thin.

I have stood by Bush on most things. I don’t support everything he has done (No child left behind, stance on immigration and spending).

But those are minor compared to our energy crises. I am starting to loose my patience with him. He’s not doing enough about it.

We all know what needs to be done to gain out energy independence. We all know we need to use our own reserve, and build refineries to refine it, while we build alternative energy plants (Nuclear, wind, solar and water). We need to switch our cars over to electric.

The free market is trying to make the switch as we see automakers rolling out hybrid, but I fear they are moving too slow.

This should be a top priority. Bush should be working day and night trying to get this done. He talks about how we need to be independent of foreign oil, but I don’t see him doing anything.

Being dependant on foreign is a security risk and an economic risk. I believe these high oil prices are the main problem our economy is going south- the trickle down effect.

Getting off oil is the way to go. Nuclear power and electric cars are the way to go. Not only is oil to valuable a resource to burn for energy, it’s dirty.

President Bush, there is still time for you do get the ball rolling. If you don’t get off your butt and do something about this, you are going to loose one of your last supporters.

McCain and Obama, which ever one of you will make this your top priority and have a plan to make sure it gets done, you have my vote. That is how strong I feel about this.
