I never said that. I never said anything remotely resembling that. What I said was, in fact, the opposite of that: I was talking about the citizen's duty to support society as a whole and not just pursue narrow self-interest, to give back and not just take.

It's what you owe to society, not what society owes to you.

Will you at least do me the courtesy of reading what I write before attacking it?
