I just wanted to get your attention; that's just a piece of yachtsman's slang that indicates a boat has been well taken care of.
Barack Obama was shown on TV today responding to the news that Bristol Palin was in the club. His remarks were (and I paraphrase) "We should not allow children to be dragged into political discussions." He's absolutely right. Miss Palin is not the first young woman to get pregnant prior to wedlock, regardless of political affiliation, and thankfully, that fact is not the scandal it would have been in the past. I think that is a sign of true progress in this society.
Let's show a little respect for a teenager suddenly thrust into the spotlight, and common courtesy for her family which (we must admit) could just have easily have been a Democratic one. If there is any political hypocrisy going on here, let's not take it out on kids and parents. As far as I'm concerned, I agree with Obama--this is a non-issue.
