The vast majority of Christians (At least 100 million in the US) believe the Bible is the true word of God...what's the point of being a Christian if you don't? So unless you want to strip those people of the right to vote because their views don't jive with yours, I suggest you learn to live with it. Teaching creationism is no more offensive than teaching five year olds about homosexuality. You want them to back off teaching their doctrine in schools? Then maybe your side needs to start backing off a bit as well. They feel the same about your preachiness as you do about theirs.
