This is reminding me of two anecdotes from TV interviews of the man on the street:
On Gas prices jumping from 1.50 to 3 per gallons (yep a few years back). Man on street says "I wont be going on vacation this year - gas too high". despite the fact that he was living in Philly and vacationing at the Jersey Shore. 5 gallons of gas tops.
On Bell Atlantic making the 215 code mandatory. Woman on street "I ain't dialling those extra 3 digits, I just wont be calling no more"
The number of stories of idiots threatening to lay off their 6 employees because there would be too much more tax is proliferating. Now you seem to think it is a violation of the American Way and we're about to become the Socialist Republic of America. Get a frigging grip on perspective Tom, you've completely lost it.
