That's how the MOAB technique works.

Each point in that load of rants would take a paragraph or two to fisk properly.

A few comments, though (I'm packing for a trip)

Two trillion for the Iraq War? I would have thought the Left had inflated that number to forty trillion by now, having incorporated all the CO2 damage that a prosperous Iraq will do to the world of the future. The real numbers, of course, suggest comparisons with other expenditures. Like the bailout.

The only people screaming "socialism" about what the government is doing with the banks are the leftists and liberals here. This is because they have no idea what the word actually means, I suppose. It seems to be defined by some people as "government taking over something I don't approve of them taking over." Hence posts like Bowser's below.

Anyone who's pushing nationalized health care while screaming about balancing the budget has no brain. It is probably pointless to argue with them. Medicare and Medicaid have already socialized a huge chunk of the system, and economists almost universally point to Medicare as the one thing that will bust our budget in the future.

The words "eight years" get tossed around a lot on the economy lately. Like Bowser, you seem to have eliminated all memory of four post-tax-cut years of employment growth, increasing tax revenues, and economic expansion. That wasn't all based on housing prices.

Obama's real politics will be crucial if he wins. The politics of the leaders of the House, where most legislation originates, are well-known. I am still astounded that the political party Palin's husband once belonged to is news, but Obama's New Party membership isn't. Of course, you might be one of those who thinks it's about frigging time we get a Tom Hayden type into the White House, but I bet you would still be among a small minority of Americans.
