Until most the insurance companies have folded and doctors are almost out of a job because the insurance companies won't be paying for the doctors' billing. Think about it. THAT is going to happen; I can see it coming. I work in the industry. It's BROKEN.
And as employers raise the cost of their employees health care, people will be losing their jobs, going elsewhere, and stop going in for regular healthcare. Then and only then, will it be possible to RE-STRUCTURE the health care industry.
I am one of those people who have NO health care.
Obviously you DO. So you really can't feel my pain.
I was injured at work a few years ago and had to go into a part time job.
Part time jobs don't pay for your health care and I can't afford the extra $160 a month to pay for it with a $2,000 deductible every year. That would cost me $5,000 a year just to pay for regular health "care." Which is a big chunk of my earnings.
Whatever Obama will do to "fix" the health care system will be fine with me.
My taxes right now are going for a war I didn't want and for a Wall Street bailout that costs the same price as the war. BOTH from the Republican administration.
I don't think you should really try and defend yourself on this position right now with us.
You only serve to set yourself up to be yelled at.
